We got a jump-start on our New Year’s resolution by spending our holiday break between the pages. Now that we’re a few weeks into 2015 here are the new books that we will be adding to our reading list.
Cold Cold Heart by Tami Hoag
Suffering from PTSD after narrowly surviving a murder attempt, Dana Nolan, a young journalist, returns home to try to heal. But that becomes even more of a challenge when she discovers that the unsolved case involving the disappearance of her childhood best friend has been reopened. Filled with fear, and terror seemingly lurking around every corner, Dana attempts to find out the truth—if the search doesn’t destroy her first.
The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black
This fantasy tale should appeal to the whole family. In Fairfold, humans and faeries peacefully co-exist—most of the time. Hazel and Ben, life-long residents of Fairfold, know the dangers the faeries can present. And then there’s the glass coffin in the woods where lies the sleeping boy with horns who finally wakes after many years of slumber. Now, for the small town to survive, who will rise to become a hero?
Dirty Rush by Taylor Bell
We’re more than a bit curious to check out this novel that promises to give a real look inside the frat life from a girl whose own time in a sorority turned her whole world upside down. It sounds like a raucous ride filled with drugs, alcohol, and, of course, a sex tape.
