We love Rebecca Yarros for her angsty, military new adult novels so we decided to let her introduce us to the world of extreme sports with Wilder, the first book in a new series. Leah Baxter is all about safety after an accident that tore her world apart. She steps outside her comfort zone to work as a tutor on a yearlong cruise. Her student? Adrenaline junkie and extreme sports hero Paxton Wilder who will do anything it takes to expand Leah’s boundaries. We loved the unique setting and the heat between Pax and Leah. We never even heard of the X Games before this book, but we will certainly be tuning into them in the future!
